Раони Барселос впервые дал комментарий после своего пугающего нокаута на UFC Vegas 121.

Raoni Barcelos has broken his silence for the first time following his concerning knockout loss at UFC Vegas 121.

Barcelos was in a strong position heading into the final round of his bout with Raul Rosas Jr. last Saturday. I promised a great fight and I fulfilled what I promised. Thank you God and everyone who fought together with me inside and out of that cage."

A prevailing theory suggests that Rosas' head made unintentional contact with Barcelos' chin, leading to the finish. Some are even advocating for the bout's result to be overturned to a no contest, though there's no official word on whether such a review will occur.

Barcelos was riding a five-fight winning streak prior to the unfortunate end to his fight with Rosas this past weekend. It remains to be seen how soon the 39-year-old can return to the Octagon, but for now, fans can be relieved knowing that UFC Vegas 121 did not end in tragedy.
